HHMI Project Mentor

Miu C. Tamamitsu received his B.S. degree in 2015 from Department of Chemistry, University of Tokyo (Japan) where he has attended one more year of M.S. course after his graduation. His research focus here was in development of novel ultrafast imaging and high-speed coherent Raman spectroscopy methods using femtosecond laser. He is now a research fellow of The Nakajima Foundation Scholarship (Japan) for his MS/Ph.D. study at Department of Electrical Engineering, University of California, Los Angeles. His current research interest is in various imaging and sensing methods enabled by computational algorithms that break the physical limitations imposed by existing optical hardwares.
