Calvin joined The Ozcan Research Group as a PhD student in 2015, after earning his BS in Engineering Physics at UC Berkeley the same year. He has conducted research at the Helmholtz-Zentrum Berlin in X-ray microscopy, and at the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory in energetic materials. His research interests include 3D imaging, machine learning, and fluorescence microscopy.
